For example, a health coach could be a nurse, dietitian, exercise physiologist, physiotherapist, naturopath, osteopath, or have another health-related occupation or certification.

When you work with a health coach, you’ll address specific issues such as healthy eating and nutrition or chronic problems such as managing diabetes, asthma, hypertension, or chronic pain. All health coaches who work with Wellbeing Coaches have professional qualifications in an allied health profession and are certified by a major university or one of the top coaching schools in the United States such as the Institute to Integrative Nutrition, the Mayo Clinic, Wellcoaches, the American College of Sports Medicine, The Cooper Institute, the National Academy of Sports Medicine, or the American Fitness Professional Trainers.

If you need help managing a condition or illness that is keeping you from achieving optimal health, a health coach’s knowledge and unconditional support can help.
