Whether you’re looking for your first job, changing careers or you want to re-enter the workforce after an extended absence, a career coach can provide the help needed to make that happen. Working one-on-one with the individual helps rebuild their career. The coach can help you to set your goals, provide guidance, feedback, and be the accountability partner in the process.
Design – Assess and develop the content to determine a strategy of the outcome. Provide data and materials to assist in accomplishing goals.
Implement – Start implementing the ideas you have created, how to find that job or how to begin living a healthy lifestyle.
Evaluate – based on criteria established in the assessment phase.

It is essential to make those changes because I will be helping individuals to live better lives. Changing careers can increase one’s standard of living and adapt to a better and healthy life enables one to live longer and have a healthy lifestyle.
Other reasons why it is essential to make changes:
- Security – Job security, financial security, peace of mind, control stress
- Status – Power/Prestige
- Self-esteem – the ability to make improvements or the accomplishment of fulfilling a goal
- Opportunity – to improve, to grow, and become more capable.

- Competitiveness – you have to feel that you are gaining ground and winning every time.
How do they get started?
Once an individual has done an initial assessment, and fully understands the process, and decides to utilize the coach an agreement would be draft outlining the timeframe. Once all the consent is in place, then the tools to enable them to get started would be sent. As a coach, one has to get to know a person before they can give help or assistance. In the getting started area, gathering information and determining how to be a coach can be helpful or either a coach can be a good fit in helping to fulfill the requirements.

I was inspired to be a coach because of the skill set that I possess: encouragement, drive, motivation, problem-solving, open-mindedness, flexibility, and enthusiasm. I decided to be a coach so that I can help individuals develop their goal and research on how to strive in accomplishing their goals, my ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and to embrace change to ensure business success. I enjoy helping people build their confidence and recognize or implement an action plan to accomplish their potential.
