A Personal Note from Samantha
Wellness is not only physical activity – there are many more elements to consider that play a part in this journey, including emotional, occupational, social, spiritual and intellectual. Each facet ties into a day to day routine, and I enjoy working with people to discover all aspects of well being. Working with clients to identify strategies that demonstrate commitment to self-care, while engaging in a healthy lifestyle, is the most effective way to map out any health risks associated with each behavior. I believe that finding support in the community is a great resource to round out a client’s wellness program.
Preventing childhood obesity is a passion of mine, and I am currently working with local schools to incorporate fitness as part of their daily activities. Along with community engagement, I love yoga, cooking, and meal planning. What I find most rewarding is helping others achieve their goals.
